Child Nutrition

The Wylie ISD Child Nutrition Team counts is a privilege to serve and feed your children!  It is our goal to provide a variety of healthy and balanced choices for the students in our district served up with a friendly and smiling face.  We are here for the benefit of your child and want to partner with you to make school lunch a healthful and positive experience.

The Wylie ISD Meal Program works as follows:
Each student is assigned his/her own six-digit lunch code that is attached to individual student accounts. As the student goes through the line to purchase a meal, they will either key in their own lunch code or scan their ID to access their account.  The amount of purchase will be automatically deducted from each individual account.  You may send payment for more than one student to any campus but please designate on the check or on a separate piece of paper the amount you would like applied to each individual student.  Please include the student's first and last name and the lunch ID number with payment.

Account Balance Notices:
It is the responsibility of the student and parent to know the balance in the lunch account.  You may access this information through Family Access.  The Family Access Quick Link is located at or you may call the school office.  Students may also see their balances on the cash register screen when they purchase their meal through the cafeteria line.
Students should have a positive balance in their lunch account or pay with cash to eat each day.
Charging is strongly discouraged and should only be utilized in emergency situations.   Al la carte or snack bar items may not be charged.

An online credit card payment system is available through Family Access as well.  Once signed in to Family Access, choose the "Food Service" option from the menu on the left side of the page.  Click on the "Make a payment" option beside your child's name.  Follow the prompts the rest of the way through the process.  Please note you will need to have log in credentials for Family Access and for making a payment in the web store through Revtrak.  A fee of $1.50 is charged for each transaction through the web store.

Parents may also choose to enable a new feature named "Auto-replenish" in our web store.  This feature will allow an automatic payment in the amount of your choosing to be administered to the card or echeck of your choice when the account balance falls below a designated amount.

Statements may be obtained through the school office by request and a account balance notice will go out through email for those accounts that fall below a $5.00 balance one time per week.  Accounts with a negative balance receive a reminder email daily until the account is made current.  Please make sure we have your current email address on file.

The last two weeks of the school year are designated a "no charging" period.

It is the expectation of the district that all meal accounts be made current by the last day of school.
