Athletic Forms
All 7th-12th graders that are planning on participating in athletics this year will need a physical and will need to complete the online forms on Rank One. Please do this as soon as possible as these need to be completed by the first days of practice which are quickly approaching.
If your child had their physical done this past spring at the high school, we have those physicals on file and you will not need to get another one.
The athletic form system for Wylie ISD is Rank One. To input your child’s information go to this site: https://www.wyliebulldogathletics.com/required-athletic-forms -

Campus tours and back to school extravaganzas will be hosted at our campuses for students grades 5-12. Check out our Meet the Teacher/Campus Tours page for campus schedules and more information.

Food Service
Last school year, a federal waiver and funding allowed Wylie ISD to provide free meals for all students. This waiver recently expired and the district will no longer be able to offer free meals for all students. Beginning this school year, students not participating in the free and reduced-meal program will be required to begin paying for meals again.
If you believe your family may qualify for free or reduced meals, we encourage you to fill out an application beginning August 1st. For more information on how to apply, please visit our food service website.

Back to School COVID-19 Health and Safety Protocols
Wylie ISD will follow the state requirement related to COVID-19, that if any student, staff or volunteer has been in school and reports testing positive for COVID-19, district staff will report the positive case to our local health department and the Texas Department of State Health Services. Health and safety protocols in Wylie ISD for the 2022-2023 school year will include the option for students, staff and volunteers to wear masks or face coverings, if preferred. However, face coverings will not be required in WISD facilities or on buses.
At this time, the district will not be conducting contact tracing but students and staff who test positive for COVID-19 will be required to stay at home for the designated amount of time required by TEA. We are continuing to monitor any additional requirements that may be established by the TEA and will adjust our protocols accordingly, if necessary. See the link below for our COVID-19 information.
