Free Meals 2021-2022
Through a USDA waiver that allows no-cost meals for the 2021-2022 school year for all students, we are excited to be able to feed all students one school breakfast and one school lunch per day free of charge this school year! A school lunch includes a protein, whole grain, fruit, vegetable and milk. Menus are posted on our website or the Wylie ISD app.
Snacks, seconds, a la carte items or other additional purchases will cost extra. Parents may put money into their student's lunch account through Family Access or bring a check or cash to the cafeteria for their student’s lunch account.
If your family has qualified for the Free and Reduced Price meal program in the past or you think your family would qualify now: Although no applications are needed to receive free meals this year, we ask that all families that have previously or may now qualify to fill out a Free/Reduced Meal Program Application so that your child’s additional benefits will not be interrupted for the grace period at the beginning of the 2022-2023 school year. Free and reduced status will also help your student qualify for other benefits and programs. To fill out an application online or see if you qualify, please follow the instructions on the Free and Reduced Meals page. For more information on Cafeteria Services, please visit our Food Services website.
Please encourage your students to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity for a healthy school breakfast and school lunch per student per day!
