The 2021-2022 school year is the inagural year for Wylie High School to host Chick-fil-A Leader Academy™.  The  Chick-fil-A Leader Academy™ is a national high school leadership program focused on IMPACT THROUGH ACTION. The world needs more leaders who impact their local communities, and we believe high school students are the answer! In partnership with Chick-fil-A, Inc., ADDO (Latin for inspire) created Chick-fil-A Leader Academy to bring a fresh approach to leadership and empower young people to make a difference.

Chick-fil-A Leader Academy is a seven-month interactive program, taught once per month. The program engages students with a monthly “Leader Lab” focusing on important leadership skills. Throughout the program, students also plan an “impact project,” which is the culmination of the program. The impact project is student-planned and student-led. Chick-fil-A Leader Academy focuses on the following leadership insights: vision and values, servant leadership, teamwork, communication, innovation and impact. Students will have an opportunity to apply for the team or may be nominated by someone in the community.
