Safe Return to In-Person Instruction and Continuity of Services Plan
On June 3, 2021, all Texas state emergency declarations concerning Covid-19 that affected school districts were rescinded by Texas Governor Greg Abbott. The Texas Education Agency also followed the same guidelines. The Wylie Independent School District resumed normal operating procedures at that time. This included in-student instruction as well as all campus operation procedures. Emergency procedures followed during the state of emergency declaration for Covid-19 are in-active at this time but are available for future use if deemed necessary by future proclamations or health mandates. The emergency operating procedures used in such cases are located on this public site. Wylie ISD will continue its normal practice of being proactive in protecting the health and safety of its students and staff.
