The Wylie Hall of Honor recognizes alumni, faculty, staff, and community members who have demonstrated notable accomplishments or provided significant contributions to their school, community or society.
The selection committee will be anonymous and will serve for a three-year term.
The committee consists of :
• 2 staff members (20+ years)
• 3 community members (20+ years)
• 2 Administrators
Anyone may submit names and the committee will select the honoree. Nominees can be submitted to the Wylie school district by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The committee will vote on nominees by a 1-5 scale. Once nominated, the name will remain on file for future consideration.
In order for alumni to be nominated, a minimum of 10 years must have passed since their attendance. Faculty members are not eligible while employed by the district. There are no restrictions for the nomination of community members. Honorees will be recognized at an induction ceremony in conjunction with Homecoming ceremonies.
