Explore Wylie ISD
Wylie ISD is located in Abilene, Texas and is one of Texas' fastest-growing school districts. Wylie ISD currently enrolls nearly 5,000 students in 1 Early Childhood campus, 2 elementary schools, 1 intermediate school, 2 junior high schools and 1 high school.
To better serve our students, we recently opened Wylie East Elementary School, which includes grades Kindergarten through 4th grade and Wylie East Junior High, which includes grades 5th-8th grade. All Kindergarten through 8th-grade students who live East of Highway 83/84 will attend the East campuses. This was an exciting step for our district as our numbers continue to climb and having two Junior High campuses ensures that more children will be given opportunities to be involved in extracurricular activities. We are ready to welcome our current and future students to schools that can effectively provide quality education.
Wylie ISD is committed to providing safe schools where students are empowered to follow their dreams and be successful. It is because of our supportive community that we have the privilege and ability to do so and our hope is that we can continue growing and extending our opportunities for all students!
To provide an education of excellence for all our students so they may function effectively, successfully and productively in society.
