A letter containing valuable information about the Wylie Independent School District meal program will be available on this website or in the Back-to-School Packets in August. Parents are encouraged to complete the application online through FAMILY ACCESS. Directions for applying online are provided in the file link at the bottom of this page.  Applications are also available in the Child Nutrition Services Department at the Administration Office. Applications must be turned in and processed for the benefit to be awarded.

Foster children are also eligible for the benefits. A separate application must be filled out for each foster child. In the operation of child feeding programs, no child will be discriminated against because of race, sex, color, national origin, age or disability.

If a parent is dissatisfied with the District’s decision regarding an application or the results of verification, the parent must first discuss the concern with the reviewing official, Kristi Landeros, before requesting a hearing.
