At the United Way of Abileneโ€™s annual luncheon, held at the Abilene Convention Center, Wylie East Elementary was recognized for setting a high bar in workplace giving, raising the highest amount across all districts to support local causes and community programs. Their generosity earned them a top award and well-deserved spotlight in front of fellow community leaders.

  • Terry Hagler, Wylieโ€™s Assistant Superintendent, was honored for his service as he retires from the Abilene United Way Board of Directors after years of committed leadership.

  • Kathryn Bristow, Wylieโ€™s Business Manager, was announced as one of the newest members joining the board, continuing the districtโ€™s legacy of community service.
