Important Announcement WE>I : Postponement of 4th Grade WE>I Music Program May 15, 2025
Good morning, Wylie East Intermediate Families.
We are writing to inform you that the 4th Grade Music Program scheduled for this morning, May 15th, has been postponed. Due to unforeseen circumstances involving our music teacher’s absence, we are unable to proceed with the performance as planned.
We know our 4th graders have worked incredibly hard preparing for this performance, and we share in their excitement to showcase their musical talents. We are so proud of their dedication!
We understand that this is disappointing news, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
We are working to reschedule the program as soon as possible. Please watch for a follow-up communication with final details.

Wylie East Intermediate 4th Grade takes flight to Dyess AFB!
Our 4th grade students had an incredible experience visiting Dyess Air Force Base, where they got to tour a C-130 aircraft and a B-1 Bomber—an unforgettable hands-on learning adventure!
A heartfelt thank you to Lt. Col. Clegg and First Sergeant Shaun Beasley, along with the entire 317th OSS, for your VIP treatment, warm hospitality and for officially adopting our school through the Dyess AFB Adopt-a-School Program. Your commitment to supporting education and building community partnerships is truly appreciated.
