Wylie ISD mourns the loss of longtime coach, teacher, and mentor Coach Chuck Eoff, who passed away peacefully on May 7, 2025, at the age of 83.
Coach Eoff served Wylie with heart and purpose for 22 years, leaving a lasting legacy both on and off the field. In 2008, he and his wife Judy were honored with induction into the Wylie Hall of Honor, a testament to their deep impact on our school community.
Known for his wit, wisdom, and unforgettable one-liners, Coach Eoff wasn’t just quotable—he was deeply respected. His passion for students, even well into retirement, reminded us that “Coach needed the kids just as much as they needed him.”
A visitation will be held in Abilene at Elmwood Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 13 at 10:00 a.m.
