Wylie Independent School District will transition to new main phone numbers for campuses and district departments beginning Friday, December 19, as part of a planned phone system upgrade.
The change is scheduled to take place at the start of Christmas Break to minimize disruption for students, families, and staff.
What’s Changing
Beginning December 19, Wylie ISD will use new main phone numbers for all campuses and several district departments. These updated numbers will become the primary way to contact schools and offices moving forward.
What’s Not Changing
Families and staff can expect several things to remain the same:
Physical desk phones are not changing
Staff extensions will remain the same
Families can continue to communicate directly with staff using the Wylie ISD Rooms App
Why the Update
This transition is part of a districtwide effort to improve phone service reliability and long-term support. By making the change during a scheduled break, Wylie ISD aims to ensure a smooth transition with minimal impact to daily operations.
