One of his student nominations read, "Dr. C has already taught me so much in his class. I have learned something new everyday and I look forward to learning more from him. He has taught me how to expand my range of thinking and how to look into a piece of literature deeper than what others might read or analyze. I enjoy getting to see how emotions and feelings can connect to a piece of literature and how it can affect the piece."

Safety first—car lines and buses may run slower than usual today.
Due to today’s weather, dismissal and all bus routes may run later than normal. Our teams will move carefully to keep students and staff safe.
What to expect:
Car lines will move more slowly at all campuses.
Bus departure and drop-off times may be delayed.
Some routes may be adjusted to avoid hazardous areas.
How you can help:
Please allow extra time for pickup and drop-off.
Keep car tags/IDs visible to speed the line.
Ensure someone is available for bus drop-off where required.
Watch for updates in the Wylie ISD app (Rooms), email, and text.
We’ll share additional updates if conditions change or if a campus-specific adjustment is needed. Thank you for your patience and partnership as we prioritize safety.

Food Service Payment Update: Our payment system remains down across all campuses as we work with our vendor to fix it quickly. If you recently paid online and received confirmation, no further action is needed.
For now: Send cash or checks (payable to Wylie ISD) to your campus, and include your student’s first & last name and “lunch payment.”
Payments made during this time will post to accounts and appear online once the system is restored. We’ll send a notification when service is back up.
