One student wrote, "Mrs. Hood is very good at teaching her subject and getting things done. Not only is she diligent with her job she is kind and friendly with her students. She does her best to accommodate students schedule and provide them with what they need for their education. She is goofy and fun to be around, i was super scared for the honors class but Mrs. Hood had relieved some of that worry."

We're grateful for Garrett Taylor, Brody Bartholomew, Chaynee South, and McKenna Herberg.

This Thursday and Friday (Nov. 6–7), Wylie ISD is joining KTAB, KRBC, Telemundo Abilene, Hardin-Simmons University, and United Supermarkets for the Big Country Food Drive — benefitting the Food Bank of West Central Texas.
Bring your non-perishable food donations to the Wylie ISD Administration Building (6251 Buffalo Gap Rd) and help us make a real difference for local families.
Superintendent Joey Light reminds us what giving is all about:
“Any time we can lend a helping hand to our neighbor, it gives us a chance to grow as individuals. If we show that to our students, they’ll carry it forward as they grow older.”
Let’s show the Big Country what Bulldog generosity looks like — one can at a time.

Last chance to order! The Wylie PTO 2025 Christmas Ornament sale is closing TODAY! Be sure to get your order in before midnight!

Wylie ISD will dismiss two hours early on Friday, October 31st
Please plan accordingly for student pick-up times. We hope everyone enjoys a safe and fun Halloween and a great start to the weekend!
