The Wylie Gymnastics team had an outstanding showing at the State Championships, finishing 12th in the state during their first-ever full team appearance! Several athletes placed individually in events and in the all-around, including Cambrya, who made history with a Top 20 finish on balance beam and a two-day combined score of 19.1—Wylie’s first Top 20 individual finish at state! This program continues to grow and impress: 🥇 Year 1: 1 individual qualified for state ✌️ Year 2: 3 individuals qualified 💪 Year 3: The entire team qualified and competed! We are incredibly proud of these athletes and the foundation they’re building. We can't wait to see what’s in store for the 2025–26 season—this is just the beginning!

WYLIE BULLDOGS CLOSE REGULAR SEASON WITH A STATEMENT WIN! ⚾ Bulldogs were all gas, no brakes Friday night at WHS Bulldog Field! Coming in hot with a six-game winning streak, Wylie bulldozed Wichita Falls Legacy with a 15-0 shutout to close out the regular season. The Bulldogs were locked in from the first pitch, flashing the leather, ripping line drives, and never giving Legacy a chance to breathe. Let’s break it down:

🔥 Wylie’s offense put on an absolute clinic — 11 hits, 15 runs, and a .478 team batting average.

🔥 Hudson Tuley stayed electric: 1-for-3 with two runs scored, a stolen base, and an RBI.

🔥 Jayce Castillo stepped up big time, notching his first hit of the season!

🔥 Colby Garrett, Dylan Regala, Jake Bearden, and Ty Briscoe all hit .500 on the night, keeping the Leopards’ outfield running in circles.

The turning point? A shot over the second baseman to the opposite field, smart baserunning, and just like that — a run-rule win after four and a half innings.

Coach Martin’s crew didn’t just win — they dominated. Whether it was giving young players a shot, celebrating seniors, or hammering Legacy’s pitching, they checked every single box heading into the postseason.

With the win, Wylie bumps their record to 20-4-1 and extends their home winning streak to eight straight — averaging 9 runs a game during that stretch. Meanwhile, Legacy drops to 4-22, now riding a 16-game skid.

👏 Shoutout to Wright Singleton and the Bulldog Sports Network crew for killer coverage of the game! Next up: The Bulldogs roll into the playoffs as the #1 seed out of District 4-5A — primed, polished, and ready for a deep run. 💜💛 👉 Catch all the Wylie action here!
