The WWJH Brilliant Bulldog Dyslexia Club is hosting its 5th Annual Pumpkin Patch on Wednesday, Sept. 30, from 4-6 p.m. at Wylie West Junior High.
Bring the family to pick out pumpkins, snap fall photos, and enjoy popcorn, baked goods and drinks while supporting some pretty brilliant Bulldogs.

Wylie ISD Transportation is using the Stopfinder app to help families stay informed about their student’s bus transportation throughout the school year.
Through Stopfinder, families can:
• Receive important messages about their child’s bus
• Get notifications about route changes, delays and other updates
• Stay connected with transportation information throughout the year

School Board Meeting Tonight
There will be a Wylie ISD School Board regular meeting, September 14th, at 6:30 pm. All meetings are open to the public and held at the Wylie Early Childhood Center Library located at 6249 Buffalo Gap Road.

🍎 Free & Reduced Lunch Applications Due Sept. 23
Wylie ISD families who wish to continue receiving free or reduced-price meal benefits for the 2026-2027 school year must complete a NEW application each year.
The 2025-2026 application will become void after September 23, 2026. If a new application is not completed by that date, the student’s meal status will transition to full price beginning September 24.
Please remember:
Eligible benefits begin the day the application is processed.
Applications do not backdate or back pay.
Parents/guardians are responsible for any existing negative meal account balance.
A new application must be completed to continue eligibility for the 2026-2027 school year.
Applications are available through Skyward Family Access.

Wylie ISD families, this is a reminder that students will have a two-hour early release on Friday, September 4.
There will be no school on Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day.
Classes will resume on Tuesday, September 8.
From all of us at Wylie ISD, we hope our students, staff, and families enjoy a safe and restful Labor Day weekend with a little extra time to recharge and spend with the people who matter most.
Destination Imagination Auditions Are Open! 🎨💡
Calling all creative Bulldogs in grades 3-12! Wylie ISD Destination Imagination auditions are now open for the 2026-27 school year.
This year’s audition theme is “Hidden Worlds.” Students will create an original project using imagination, problem-solving and primarily recycled or repurposed materials.
📅 September 4: Early deadline for 5 extra points
📅 September 9: Final audition deadline
🎉 September 18: Teams announced
Completed projects and audition forms should be turned in at the student’s home campus.
