Wylie ISD was honored to welcome Michael Dean, District Field Representative for Congressman Jodey Arrington, to Wylie West Elementary on the first day of school. Dean joined staff, parents, and community members in greeting students as they arrived for an exciting new year.
Dean shared the following message:
“...Thank you for helping coordinate and allowing me to welcome students to their first day of school at Wylie West Elementary.
Please pass along my thanks to all the teachers, who will undoubtedly make a lasting impact on the lives of the students they teach; the administration, who ensure the schools run smoothly both academically and operationally; and the staff—from cafeteria workers who help students perform their best by providing healthy meals, to maintenance workers who keep the school building and grounds safe, functional, and clean so students and staff can focus on learning. Each person has a critical role in helping foster the growth of future generations.
Go Bulldogs! Let’s have the best year yet.”
Wylie ISD appreciates the continued support from Michael Dean and the recognition of the hard work and dedication shown by our teachers, administrators, and staff. We are excited to begin another year of learning, growth, and Bulldog pride.
