🍎 Free & Reduced Lunch Applications Due Sept. 23
Wylie ISD families who wish to continue receiving free or reduced-price meal benefits for the 2026-2027 school year must complete a NEW application each year.
The 2025-2026 application will become void after September 23, 2026. If a new application is not completed by that date, the student’s meal status will transition to full price beginning September 24.
Please remember:
Eligible benefits begin the day the application is processed.
Applications do not backdate or back pay.
Parents/guardians are responsible for any existing negative meal account balance.
A new application must be completed to continue eligibility for the 2026-2027 school year.
Applications are available through Skyward Family Access.

There will be no school on Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day.
Classes will resume on Tuesday, September 8.

Destination Imagination Auditions Are Open! 🎨💡
Calling all creative Bulldogs in grades 3-12! Wylie ISD Destination Imagination auditions are now open for the 2026-27 school year.
This year’s audition theme is “Hidden Worlds.” Students will create an original project using imagination, problem-solving and primarily recycled or repurposed materials.

Last year, thanks to the incredible support of our Bulldog families and the success of our Lollipop Sales, we were able to update the Teachers’ Lounge and restock it with lots of snacks, drinks, and treats for our amazing staff. The turnout was wonderful, and we would love to make it just as successful this year!
This year, we’re making it even more special by getting our STUDENTS involved! 🐾
🛒 HOW IT WORKS:
Toward the end of each month, we will ask our families to donate items to help restock the Teachers’ Lounge.
💜 Parents will need to sign up through the SignUpGenius link below and choose the item(s) they would like to donate.
💛 Students can bring their donated items to the Purple Office on the scheduled day.
🐾 Our students will then get to help stock the Teachers’ Lounge themselves!
It’s a fun way for our Bulldogs to take part in showing appreciation for the teachers and staff who do so much for them every day. 💜💛

Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make this year’s event such a memorable night for our students, families and community.
From the performances and team introductions to the Passing the Torch moment at midfield, the evening was a reminder of something that makes Wylie special - from our youngest students to our seniors, we are all Bulldogs. One mascot, one community and one shared tradition that connects every campus.
We’re grateful for our students, coaches, sponsors, volunteers, families and every Bulldog who filled The Hugh and helped make the night possible.
