Military Families — Reminder
If your family has a military affiliation, please take a few minutes to complete the 2025–2026 Wylie ISD Impact Aid Survey in Skyward Family Access.
This short survey helps Wylie ISD receive federal funding that directly supports classrooms, staffing, and student resources. Dyess Air Force Base leadership has emphasized how important military family participation is in ensuring schools receive the funding they are eligible for.
🗓 Deadline: January 23
🔗 Log in to Skyward Family Access to complete the survey.
Thank you for supporting our schools and our Bulldog students.

We’re grateful for the Wylie ISD School Board members who give their time, energy, and heart to serve our students, staff, and community. Their leadership helps shape the future of Wylie ISD every day.
Thank you for all you do — it’s great to be a Wylie Bulldog. 🐾
📅 Next Board Meeting: Jan. 12 | 6:30 PM
📍 Wylie Early Childhood Center Library

Wylie ISD schools will release 2 hours early on December 18th as we head into Christmas Break.
📅 Christmas Break: December 19 – January 5
🎒 Students return: Tuesday, January 6
We hope our Bulldog families enjoy a safe, restful, and joyful holiday season!

For Pajama Day, all attire must still meet school expectations for safety and modesty. Pajama pants may not have an open fly, and all pajamas must provide full coverage. Tops should follow the regular dress code, and slippers are not allowed for safety reasons—students must wear regular shoes.
Thank you for helping us keep the day fun, appropriate, and safe for everyone!

Wylie ISD: The Gifted & Talented Referral Link is now open through Dec. 12 at 4 PM.
➡️ Referral Form
➡️ GT Info Video
KDG families do not need to refer (all KDG students are considered). Students already receiving GT services do not need retesting.

Bring your non-perishable food donations to the Wylie ISD Administration Building (6251 Buffalo Gap Rd) and help us make a real difference for local families.
Superintendent Joey Light reminds us what giving is all about:
“Any time we can lend a helping hand to our neighbor, it gives us a chance to grow as individuals. If we show that to our students, they’ll carry it forward as they grow older.”
Let’s show the Big Country what Bulldog generosity looks like — one can at a time.
