At the Wylie Early Childhood Center, lunchtime looked more like a scene straight out of a storybook. The cafeteria was like a royal banquet hall, where every tray of food felt a little more magical and every Capri Sun came with a touch of enchantment.

Princess gowns shimmered down the hallways as little Bulldogs arrived dressed as their favorite Disney characters. Cinderella herself made an appearance in the lunch line, greeting the young pups with a smile as she made her way to a table of tiny princes and princesses.

And then came the helpers. Who better to cut your chicken into bite-sized pieces than the one-eyed wonder, Mike Wazowski? Even Cruella Deville, usually more interested in dalmatians than dining, lent a hand by opening juice pouches — because sometimes even villains have a soft spot for snack time.

With laughter echoing through the “royal dining hall” and tiaras slightly askew from all the excitement, the day was a reminder that magic doesn’t just live at Disney World — it can be found in the smiles of children, the sparkle of dress-up, and the joy of a school community celebrating together.

At ECC, even lunch can be a fairy tale. And that’s just another reason why it’s great to be a Wylie Bulldog!
