Mrs. Hess and Mrs. King’s classes hit the streets—well, the miniature streets—at Safety City this week!
Students learned how to safely cross intersections, follow traffic signals, and practice pedestrian and bike safety in a hands-on environment designed just for kids.
It was a great day of learning, laughter, and responsibility as our youngest Bulldogs took the wheel in understanding how to stay safe on the road.

Last week, Mrs. Krivitza’s class explored the question — “How are offspring like their parents?” — using text features and real-world examples. After reading about baby bears, students dove into their own research on different bear species and even tuned in to a live stream of bears in Alaska!

Wylie Golf is offering free junior golf clinics this fall for boys and girls in grades 1–6! No experience is needed, and junior clubs will be available if your child doesn’t have their own.
The clinics will be held at Mulligans (Par 3), 1166 Ben Richey Drive, Abilene, from 9:00–10:30 AM on these Saturdays:
