HOSA Area Competition. 10 students advanced to Area competition in Killeen last weekend. Tessa Jones placed 5th in extemporaneous writing-health care policy. Cindy Do placed 5th in Medical Arts Poster and Mikel Villas placed 1st in Healthcare Photography. Mikel will advance to the STATE HOSA Competition!

TEA's Title III Series Community Engagement virtual event will take place on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at 12:30 p.m.-2:00 p.m. CT. The T3 Series Community event will feature presentations from the Texas Tuition Promise Fund and from My Texas Future. The Texas Tuition Promise Fund presentation will focus on how families with young children can plan and save for college at current undergraduate tuition rates. The My Texas Future presentation will benefit all families supporting students who are exploring potential careers and applying to college as well as adults who are interested in furthering their education and skills.

2026 WGS Future Bulldog Night
Come join us on February 13th as the Wylie Girls Soccer team takes on Abilene High! We are going to recognize all future Bulldogs! Every kid will receive free entry into the game and a Wylie Girls Soccer t-shirt to wear. Not only will they get in for free, a shirt to wear, but they will also be recognized in between the JV and Varsity games. The future Bulldogs will also be a part of the announcements of the Varsity match. Please let us know if you will be able to attend this fun eventful night! Deadline to register will be Wednesday, February 4th. For multiple kids, you will need to fill out this form again.

The UIL Academics Team claimed the Overall Sweepstakes Championship at the Winter at Tech meet, placing 1st out of 43 schools. Briana Allen and Canyon South were each awarded scholarships for earning the highest overall scores in their respective events
