🍦 Sweet Veterans Day Celebration!
Many Bulldogs joined in for a special Ice Cream Social at Wylie West Intermediate, organized by our amazing Wylie PTO and Communities In Schools — a fun way to connect, share smiles, and honor the veterans who mean so much to our community.
The Hero Wall made the day even more meaningful, proudly displaying the names and photos of veterans from our Bulldog families. 💜Every scoop was served with gratitude!

This week, campuses across Wylie ISD are honoring the brave men and women who have served—and those who continue to serve—our country. We are proud to celebrate our military heroes and thank them for their sacrifice, courage, and commitment.
Thank you, Veterans. We are honored to recognize you and your families.

WYLIE ISD DAY at ACU!
Come cheer on former Bulldog Sutton Peck (Wylie Class of ’25) and the Abilene Christian Wildcats this Saturday, Nov. 8 at 2 PM as they take on Utah Tech!
🎟️ Free tickets are available for all Wylie ISD students and staff

Athletic Director Coach Mike Fecci put it perfectly: “We are blessed to have some very dedicated and talented coaches at Wylie that do things the right way and are invested in all of our students.”
Wylie coaches are more than game-day leaders — they are teachers, mentors, encouragers, bus drivers, facility caretakers, grief counselors, cheerleaders, and role models who show up early, stay late, and pour into our students every single day.
So when you see a coach today, take a moment to say thank you!

This Thursday and Friday (Nov. 6–7), Wylie ISD is joining KTAB, KRBC, Telemundo Abilene, Hardin-Simmons University, and United Supermarkets for the Big Country Food Drive — benefitting the Food Bank of West Central Texas.
Bring your non-perishable food donations to the Wylie ISD Administration Building (6251 Buffalo Gap Rd) and help us make a real difference for local families.
Superintendent Joey Light reminds us what giving is all about:
“Any time we can lend a helping hand to our neighbor, it gives us a chance to grow as individuals. If we show that to our students, they’ll carry it forward as they grow older.”
Let’s show the Big Country what Bulldog generosity looks like — one can at a time.
