Learning is happening all around Wylie! 🐾
Our West Elementary Bulldogs are working hard, asking questions and building new skills every day. We love seeing our students engaged and growing in the classroom!

The chase for district championships ramps up for tennis, volleyball and football, cross country keeps collecting medals, and golf swings in the fall season. Here is this week's Bulldog schedule courtesy The Shed Market: wyliebulldogathletics.com

Pumpkins, Pictures and Bulldog Fun

The WWJH Brilliant Bulldog Dyslexia Club is hosting its 5th Annual Pumpkin Patch on Wednesday, Sept. 30, from 4-6 p.m. at Wylie West Junior High.

Bring the family to pick out pumpkins, snap fall photos, and enjoy popcorn, baked goods and drinks while supporting some pretty brilliant Bulldogs.

Congratulations to Wylie High School seniors Agastya Duddyala, James McCall and Ethan Murray, who have been named Commended Students in the 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program. Commended Students are among the top 50,000 students nationwide who entered the competition through the 2025 PSAT/NMSQT.

Students and members of the 7th FSS helped bring Constitution Day into the morning announcements, sharing a little history and a reminder of the meaning behind “We the People.”

Thank you to Caden Moulton, Sgt. Valencia, Emma Barnett, Sgt. Beverage, Jack Hall and Karson Toliver for helping our students learn more about the U.S. Constitution and what it means to be an informed citizen.

Yesterday, our WWE students put their own touch on Constitution Day. With coffee-stained pages made to look like they had traveled straight from 1787, their student constitutions came together with one final detail - their own signatures.

A little history, a little creativity, and a memorable way to bring the Constitution to life.

Comedy, Confusion and a Little Corruption

Wylie Theatre is bringing The Government Inspector to the stage! When crooked small-town officials mistake an unexpected visitor for a powerful government inspector, panic sets in and their attempts to cover their tracks only make things funnier.

Featuring two casts and a large ensemble, this fast-paced comedy is packed with mistaken identities, ridiculous characters and plenty of laughs.

🎭 Performances: September 25, 26 & 28 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, September 27 at 2 p.m.

New Turf Taking Shape

Exciting progress is underway at Wylie! New turf is currently being installed at the baseball and softball fields, giving our Bulldogs upgraded facilities to practice, compete and represent Wylie for years to come.

We can’t wait to see these fields when they’re finished!
