Fine Arts Signing Day gave Wylie seniors a moment in the spotlight as families, teachers, friends and supporters gathered at the Wylie Performing Arts Center to celebrate their next chapter.
These Bulldogs are continuing their talents in music, theater, visual arts, digital art, speech and more.
“It really shows that our district is more than one thing,” Wylie School Board Trustee Cameron Wiley said. “Being able to celebrate and recognize fine arts students, just like any other group, is important.”
For Musical Theater Director and Assistant Theater Director Maddie Jones, the day felt like “the exclamation point at the end of a really long season of hard work.”
Senior McKenna Herberg, who will study music education at ACU, said music helped her find confidence.
“I’ve realized that music is a big part of who I am, and that I want to be able to share that with other people,” she said.
Congratulations to all of our Fine Arts Signing Day seniors. Each name represents a different story, a different gift and a different next step.
